My SAQA Texas Experience work for 2016, Bluebonnet Dream'in, is an improvisational creation using fabric and 4 household papers (coffee filters, paper towels, deli paper and dryer sheets) collaged together onto muslin with gel medium then quilted onto Dream Cotton quilt batting (see Fig. 1 below). I was pleased with the perspective on this one, combining use of fairly realistic floral images up close with receding impressionistic trees in the background.
