This year's SAQA auction donation work was created from mono-printed deli-paper and painted paper towel collaged onto Peltex stabilizer then stitched. I called it "Fatto a Mano" (Handmade). This was a departure from my work with paper towel and coffee filters and led to the exploration of combining this and other commercial household papers with fabric in a quilt art application (See Fabric and Paper Landscapes - Quilting Arts, Apr/May, 2017, further down in this blog).
